Industry representatives suggest that the industrial solar market is growing and as a nation, we have taken leaps of action towards growth in technology. Rohit Kumar, Head of the Indian Subcontinent, Renewable Energy Corporation – REC India, said: “The roof-top market in India is a slow-moving segment. Presently, however, we (the renewable sector) are going through a policy crisis and there is a need for correction.” He said the only way forward is to pioneer in technology and come up with products that are efficient.

On the other hand, Bharat Bhut, Director, Goldi Solar Pvt Ltd, said: “The policies that we have are unclear and we need a proper platform that can help us with short-term and long-term planning.” Overall, he added, Goldi solar is focused on quality and on reliability. “We also follow very good business practise and deliver on the things that we commit to.”
