As the ITBP Soldiers face a lot of challenges in terms of interrupted electricity to power their camps in Leh Ladak and Arunachal Pradesh. Central Government has constructed eco-friendly Border Outpost (BoP) at a forward location near the India-China border at a height of 18,000 feet, which comprise of central heating, roofs covered with solar panels.
MicroSun Solar Tech Pvt Ltd was appointed to Source the electricity through Solar Power Plants at the camp-sites. The engineers worked hard towards the installation and execution of the project.
