KBR awarded Advanced Automation System Contracts for HURL Ammonia Plant in India

KBR recently announced that it has been awarded two contracts by Toyo Engineering Corporation for the supply of an Operator Training Simulator (OTS) and an Advanced Process Control (APC) system for the new single-stream 2200 MTPD ammonia plant for Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) at Uttar Pradesh, India. As per the terms of the contract, KBR will provide turnkey OTS and APC systems associated services for the HURL-G project. The deliverables include the provision of all hardware, software, associated engineering services, upgrades and multi-year maintenance and support.

The work is expected to be performed over three years by KBR’s Advanced Automations teams in Houston, USA and Pune, India. “The latest ammonia OTS and APC award is a validation of KBR’s expertise in providing innovative advanced automation and digital solutions to our clients,” said Doug Kelly, President, KBR Technology Solutions.
