Trelleborg to showcase anti-vibration technology at International Railway Equipment Exhibition

Trelleborg to showcase anti-vibration technology at International Railway Equipment Exhibition Trelleborg’s antivibration solutions operation, a global expert in anti-vibration systems, will be attending this year’s International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) to showcase a variety of solutions that drive efficiency and performance for rail operators.

Taking place in New Delhi, India, between 22 to 24 October, the trade show brings together rail experts from across the world. Visitors to Trelleborg’s stand, Booth 47 in Hall 5, will have the opportunity to put their antivibration questions and challenges directly to the Trelleborg team. They will be able to gain practical insights into how today’s emerging technologies can enhance performance for rail operators and transform the experience of passengers through the reduction of noise and vibration.

Ranadip Basu, General Manager at Trelleborg’s antivibration solutions operation in India, said: “With the current commitment to the development of India’s railways, IREE is a fantastic opportunity for us to share our market-leading anti-vibration solutions with professionals here in India. As we’ve recently opened our cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, this event also gives customers the chance to meet our local experts, who can support them to develop bespoke solutions for their vibration-related challenges.”

Building on its experience within the rail market, Trelleborg recently opened a 6,200 square meter manufacturing facility to substantially increase production capabilities for anti-vibration systems in India. Employing about 100 personnel, the facility enhances distribution and reduces lead times for specifiers in India, while reflecting Trelleborg’s high production standards for anti-vibration systems that have been honed over more than seven decades.
