Sintex BAPL, a Welspun Corp subsidiary, appoints Mr. Ashish Prasad as CEO, effective November 2, 2023, ushering in a new phase of growth and innovation.
Mr. Prasad, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus with 25+ years of experience in Sales, Brand Management, Operations, Digital, and Strategy in the Consumer and Retail sectors, joins Sintex BAPL, known for quality and sustainability. His appointment underscores the company’s dedication to excellence. With his manufacturing sector expertise, Mr. Prasad is poised to lead Sintex BAPL into a promising future.
Mr. Prasad, as CEO, will oversee Sintex BAPL’s strategic direction, operations, and growth while adhering to acceptable business practices. He will report to Welspun Group Managing Director Rajesh R. Mandawewala.
Mr. Prasad, who has over two decades of experience in the sector, stated, “I am thrilled to be a part of the Welspun team as we embark on a journey to elevate and further develop Sintex. Prior to joining Welspun World, Ashish Prasad was Senior Vice-President of Ashirvad Pipes and worked for Asian Paints, Aditya Birla Group, and Pidilite Industries Limited.
