Compressors help maintain air quality and are widely used in various sectors of the HVAC industry. Refrigerant dryers are extensively used in the manufacturing industry with a relatively low initial at an efficient operating cost. However, the temperature of the compressed air needs to be regulated achieving a high dryness of the air. Abhilekh Verma, Senior Business Development Executive, Ideabytes Software India, while assessing the market for air compressor filters, he said: “The air compressor filter and the compressor air dryer market is estimated to be USD 5.4 billion in the year 2020.”
The numbers, he said are projected to reach USD 7.5 billion by the year 2025 at a CAGR of seven per cent during the forecast period. This in addition to the fact that the industry is going digital. He said: “Today, vendors have Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) enabled devices, and this just adds pace to the way the industry functions.”
