At EuMW 2023, Rohde & Schwarz introduces innovative RF test solutions for mmWave and sub-THz research, including the R&S SFI100A signal generator, R&S NRP170TWG power sensor, and R&S FE110ST/SR frontends.
The R&S SFI100A, R&S NRP170TWG, and R&S FE110ST/SR will be introduced by Rohde & Schwarz during European Microwave Week 2023. These improvements will boost RF test solutions for W and D band applications, allowing for early sub-THz research in 5G and 6G.
Rohde & Schwarz presents the R&S SFI100A, a wideband IF vector signal generator, designed for diverse applications, including early 6G research, high-capacity wireless backhaul, sensing, and automotive radar. With up to 10 GHz RF modulation bandwidth, this compact and user-friendly instrument seamlessly integrates with R&S FExxxST up-conversion frontends. Combined with R&S FSW50 analyzer, R&S FE170ST/SR frontends, and R&S NRP170TWG thermal power sensor, it forms a comprehensive wideband D band communication testing solution.
Rohde & Schwarz announces the R&S NRP170TWG(N) thermal power sensor, which expands the RF power sensor offering for precise measurements from 110 GHz to 170 GHz. It has a large dynamic range, excellent performance, and seamless compatibility with other D band test systems. These sensors are the only plug-and-play option on the market for D band measurements, making them suitable for mass manufacturing.
Rohde & Schwarz introduces R&S FE110ST/SR TX/RX frontends, expanding the frequency range of signal sources like R&S SMW200A and R&S SFI100A to cover the W band (75 GHz to 110 GHz). These frontends are seamlessly integrated into the company’s frontend portfolio, showcased at EuMW for multi-port measurements with R&S SMW200A and R&S RTP oscilloscope.
