Dantherm buys Swiss distributor AirCenter

Dantherm, a Danish HVAC equipment manufacturer has acquired AirCenter AG, a Swiss supplier of air conditioners, dehumidifiers and accessories. An established supplier of Dantherm equipment in Switzerland, AirCenter grew out of a merger of the Swiss companies Aerial and Dehumidifier Center, headquartered in Baden.

Dantherm sees the acquisition as another key milestone in its expansion strategy. It follows the acquisitions of Calorex Heat Pumps in the UK, Schönmann AG in Switzerland, Master Climate Solutions Group (MCS) in Italy, Poland, Russia, Spain and China, Water Surveillance in Denmark, Aerial in Germany, Sovelor in France, Futurclima in Italy, Termigo in Spain and SET Energietechnik and Heylo in Germany.

Dantherm, CEO, Bjarke Brons, said: “AirCenter has a strong market position and a very broad customer base and the acquisition further extends our distribution channels. Switzerland is a key market for us, and we are excited about the opportunities that AirCenter provides in terms of market presence in Switzerland.”
