Following the successful R&S MXO 4 of 2022, Rohde & Schwarz introduces the R&S MXO 5, with eight channels and more innovation for overcoming challenging design challenges.

Rohde & Schwarz unveils the R&S MXO 5 oscilloscopes, offering four or eight channels. Leveraging the MXO-EP processing ASIC technology from the R&S MXO 4, the new eight-channel models elevate measurement performance.

With 4.5 million acquisitions and 18 million waveforms per second across multiple channels, the R&S MXO 5, an eight-channel oscilloscope, sets industry standards. It specializes at capturing complex signal details and isolating minor anomalies, with a revolutionary 45,000 FFTs per second capacity for spectrum signal analysis, particularly in EMI and harmonic testing.

The R&S MXO 5 series boasts 500 Mpoints simultaneous acquisition memory across eight channels, doubling the standard memory of competitors. An optional extension to 1 Gpoints caters to demanding applications, crucial for extended troubleshooting tasks, ensuring accurate bandwidth data retention at slower time base settings.

The pioneering R&S MXO 5, the first eight-channel oscilloscope with digital triggering, delivers unmatched sensitivity at 0.0001 div. This accuracy isolates tiny anomalies, complimenting the 18-bit vertical architecture for enhanced signal analysis without signal processing corrections.

The R&S MXO 5 leads in RF measurements, pioneering with 45,000 FFTs per second. Simultaneous display of four time-independent spectra ensures unmatched RF signal visibility, setting new standards in oscilloscope capabilities.

For an improved user experience, the R&S MXO 5 features a large 15.6″ full-HD capacitive touchscreen and an easy user interface. Its tiny dimensions and VESA installation accommodate varied technical workplaces, while its very low audible noise level ensures a quiet and concentrated lab environment.
