IRCON signs a contract agreement to upgrade Railway line in Sri Lanka

IRCON International Ltd. (IRCON) has signed a contract agreement with the Government of Sri Lanka for around US$ 91.26 million (equivalent to INR 635 crore) project to upgrade the Railway track from Maho to Omanthai in Colombo on 18.07.2019. The contract agreement was signed by Mr S. K. Chaudhury, CMD, IRCON, and Mr L. P. Jayampathy, Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Sri Lanka, in the presence of Mr. Arjuna Ranatunga, Hon’ble Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of Sri Lanka and Mr. S.L. Gupta, ED/General, IRCON and other officers of Government of Sri Lanka.
